RESPONSIBILITIES

playSTUDIOS is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement robust technical solutions that support our suite of web applications to ensure seamless integration with third-party games and apps. You will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to align business requirements with technical strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems.

The Solutions Architect will report to the Technical Director with duties including:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for back-office applications and internal tooling products.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the architecture is translated effectively into development work
  • Collaborate with third-party teams to define integration requirements and deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in implementing the proposed architecture and solutions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of internal tooling and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development team.
  • Ensure the solution architecture is aligned with the company’s security, performance, and compliance standards.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively propose mitigation strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven track record in architecting web applications, tooling solutions, and integrations.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong background in designing scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Extensive experience with web technologies (e.g., Node.js, React, Angular, Python, Java, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API design and integration (REST, GraphQL, SOAP, etc.).
  • Expertise in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, distributed databases).
  • Strong understanding of microservices, containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Experience with authentication, security protocols, and identity management (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development practices (Git, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Familiar and comfortable with agile methodologies
